Programs

The academic schedule is designed so that the training is not too intensive and enables everyone to participate - students with families, unmarried, working, studying at other educational institutions as well as involved in church ministry.

At the Latvian Biblical Centre, the programmes use a modular system – one course per month. This means that you can join a programme at any time throughout the school year. If you happen to miss some of the lectures, it is also possible to watch it on video, since all classes are filmed.

In case of bad epidemiological situation studies will happen via distance learning.

Christian Foundations – Applications are open throughout the year.

Languages available:   

Foundations of Biblical education. Different Biblical topics, doctrines and ministry is part of this program. Courses of this program are survey-type.

School of Preachers – Application by 6 September.

Languages available:   

This two-year programme is aimed at pastors and lay people who have potential as preachers.It is delivered by four weekend courses per year and attendance, approximately monthly, at small cluster groups between the main weekends.

Christianity, Work & Society – Application by 6 September.

Study format:   In class (Riga, Latvia) 
Languages available:   

The aim of this programme is to enable сhristian workers, young сhristians and God-seekers to understand biblically how their work and workplace are an integral part of the ministry (vocation) God entrusted to them, and how they can contribute towards a change in the culture & values, relationships and the overall transformation of the workplace.

Missional studies – Submit your application via email.

Study format:   For churches, their leaders and visitors (Riga, Latvia) 
Languages available:   

Missional studies are taught in the church. The aim is to re-imagine the church through the Kingdom lenses: to transform the church, to increase relationships, and to create a hunger for God and His Word, and to impact the community.
This program will be available to congregations. You can apply now by emailing our Academic Director. 
 

BA - Theology and Leadership – Applications open from December 15 – January 31.

Study format:  Distance learning (Individually)
Languages available: 

The Norwegian School of Leadership and Theology in cooperation with LBC offers an opportunity to study for a Bachelor Degree in Theology and Leadership. The degree is validated and accredited by the Norwegian government and it complies with the requirements of the Bologna agreement (European Academic Agreement). Studies in the Bachelor's programme take place via distance learning in English.
