New vision & future

Dear friends,

Two years ago, I felt that the Lord had spoken to  me about an abandoned building in the centre of Riga. I didn’t know anything about this building so Ester and I started to pray about my discovery to ensure that the message was truly from the Lord. When the Lord confirmed his message, we began to investigate.

From our research, we uncovered the building’s fascinating and inspiring history. It had housed a Bible and Missionary school founded by the outstanding Latvian evangelist William Fetler.

He founded the school in 1924 with a vision to teach local Christians how to preach and spread the message of Jesus Christ. Around 100 local pastors and missionaries were taught during the School’s all-too-brief ministry. Yet the School didn’t just improve the spiritual lives of the Latvian community, through the passionate efforts of its students, it spread the message of the Gospels to countries as distant as Australia inspired us to revive and continue the mission he began, to equip men and women for ministry in the modern world. and China.

Fetler was a gifted evangelist with a practical and spiritual vision. During his ministry, thousands of Latvians and Russians came to the Lord. He built three Churches in Latvia and one in Saint-Petersburg. His enthusiasm for the Lord and commitment to his huge congregation has inspired us to revive and continue the mission he began, to equip men and women for ministry in the modern world.
