Ministry Experience

1993-1998
Organizing and leading a second evangelistic trip with a group of students from London Bible College, Great Britain. The trip involved preaching in prisons, open air evangelism and distribution of literature in Tjumen, Tobolsk, Salekhard, Labitnangi, Harp and on Jamal peninsula in Jar-Sale, Novyi Port, Mys Kamennii, (Siberia).
1991
Participating and taking an active role in organizing a missionary expedition ‘Christ to the people of Siberia’ (Khristos narodam Sibiri), on the river ‘Ob´’, Tjumen’s region in the summer. Responsibility involved communication with the delegates from 7 countries, translating during the period of the expedition. Leading and organizing a trip to Vladivostok, Blagoveshensk with a team from Norway which was commissioned by ‘Open Doors’ mission, Norway. The purpose – exploring the ways for the delivery of Christian literature into China.
 
Organizing and leading evangelistic trips to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii (Kamchatka peninsula) and surrounding area with a team from Norway. The trip involved preaching in prisons, open air evangelism and distribution of literature.
1990
Being a member of the organizing committee within the Lausanne Congress in Moscow. Responsibilities involved: - Meeting foreign delegates at the airport ‘Sheremet’evo’, arranging transportation to ‘Izmailovo’ complex, providing accommodation, and taking part in organizing seminars during this congress.
 
(November-December) Organizing and leading a group of 5 young men on evangelistic and pioneering trip to T’jumen’s region. The trip involved preaching in concert halls and in prisons, as well as the projection of the ‘Jesus’ film in the following cities: T’jumen, Tobolsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut, Salekhard, Labitnangi, Yar-Sale (Jamal peninsula, Siberia).
1989 Organizing and leading evangelistic trips across Soviet Union, including visiting and preaching in the cities and surrounding areas of: Pskov, Novgorod, Cherepovets, Vologda, Jaroslavl’, Kostroma, Kirov, Izhevsk, Perm’, Tjumen’, Omsk, Krasnojarsk, Irkutsk, (Russia, Siberia). The trips involved preaching in prisons, open air evangelism and distribution of literature.

Organizing and leading evangelistic outreach (group of young people from the Church of the Cross, Riga) to Kotlas, Syktyvkar, Ukhta, Pechora, Inta and Vorkuta (Russia). The trips involved preaching in prisons, open air evangelism and distribution of literature, interviews for local radio, TV and newspapers.
